Description

In my linocuts, I try to capture the beauty and serenity of daily life. For me, the beauty of life lies in our simple daily tasks and routines, the way we interact and connect with each other, and our surroundings. The artwork illustrates a local woman washing her textiles in the Corubal river, Boé region (Guinea-Bissau, West-Africa). It is an unframed linocut print. The print is handmade, carved, and pulled from the block. The work is signed and numbered in an edition of 30 prints. Printed on Hahnemuhle paper 200 gram.
